It's Here!!!

Finally my iMac has arrived (I say finally, it only took 4 days :p) it's absolutely awesome. Really fast, and the 20" display is just perfect. Typically it's the little things that really impress though. Like how quick and easy it was to install the extra RAM (I maxed it out at 2gigs :D).

Something I only found out after I had ordered it impressed me even more : the light that glows when you put the machine to sleep now detects the ambient light levels and dims accordingly. So if like me you have your Mac in your bedroom once you switch the lights off the light on the Mac will dim. No more putting gaffer tape over it! :p

It's these myriad little touches that keep me buying Macs. Nobody else would even think about those little touches. I can't wait to go into work tomorrow & hear everybody going on about their "piece of crap Dell" machines, that's a word for word quote by the way from a colleague of mine. It almost didn't seem fair to tell her I had a Mac when she said that :p
